American Friends of Isaac Accords (AFOIA)
AFOIA is a nonprofit organization established in 2025 by The Genesis Prize Foundation (GPF). Its mission is to advance economic, cultural and diplomatic cooperation between Israel and Latin American countries. Conceived by 2025 Genesis Prize Laureate Argentinian President Javier Milei, the Isaac Accords aim to mirror the success of the Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Israel and several Arab nations, including UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco.

Statement from Danny Danon, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations
“Given the hostility toward the Jewish state from some nations in the region, support of Israel by Latin American countries which are now on the sidelines is very important. President Milei’s vision for Isaac Accords is highly admirable, as is the practical support provided by The Genesis Prize Foundation and AFOIA. Israel has long been a beacon of innovation and resilience. The establishment of a Latin America–Israel alliance rooted in shared values and mutual benefit is long overdue. I am pleased to see the Isaac Accords initiative get off the ground and thank President Milei for setting an example for his neighbors in the region.”
Statement of the United States Regarding the Isaac Accords Initiative
“The potential Isaac Accords between Israel and Latin American nations offer an important vehicle for increasing mutually beneficial alignment and cooperation. Measures to increase channels for security cooperation, diplomatic coordination in international fora, and investment and education would be politically attractive and beneficial to both Israel and Latin America, seizing on the complementary advantages and capacities that these societies can bring to the table. The Issac Accords also stand to benefit the United States through the bolstering of its allies, support of hemispheric security and growth, combating the global rise of antisemitism, and advancing reform of increasingly radical and anti-American international organizations.”
Objectives
AFOIA's primary objectives include:
- Promoting diplomatic and economic cooperation between Israel and Latin American democracies.
- Advancing educational and cultural exchanges to foster mutual understanding.
- Countering antisemitism and extremism through public awareness and joint projects.
